Foothills Bobsleigh is administrated by an elected body which oversees the operation of the club throughout the year.  The individuals listed below are the officers of the executive.  Please feel free to contact anyone of them if you have any questions regarding the club.

What does the executive do?

Govern and direct the affairs of the club.
Oversee the financial business of the club.
Ensure accountability to members of the club in all matters of the executive.
Ensure the sustainabilty of the club's assests.

What positions are available?
Each year there are a minimum of two (2) and maximum of four (4) positions available on the executive.

What kinds of Positions are they?
They are voluntary.  The executive does not receive renumeration for their services.

What are the terms of Office?
Executive are elected for two (2) year terms.

What is the commitment?
To attend between 4 and 6 board meetings per season.
To attend as necessary to improve or maintain the functioning of the club.

Whose is eligible for Election?
Individual members in good standing.

When are elections held?
At the Annual General Meeting of the club.

When do positions become effective?
Immediately following the close of the Annual General meeting.

Questions about matters such as working on the board, role and responsibilities may be directed
to any one of the current executive.
